The Story Behind Photogracey
I have this one great memory at the house I grew up in. As a young child, I would wake up to the sound of large roars on so many Saturday mornings, run outside in my pajamas, and find all of these hot air balloons floating over my head. They seemed to have come from nowhere and they glided over the rooftops and treetops. Huge, colorful bubbles accompanied by massive, roaring puffs of hot air. They were eerily quiet and obnoxiously loud both at the same time, and would soon disappear in the skyline as mysteriously as they came. It was an amazing sight for an eight year old, and to this day I still remember that feeling of awe and wonder.
I wish I had a photograph of it.
But it only exists in my mind now. It is a vivid and beautiful memory that
I revisit often and I feel the magic and joy all over again.
Whether it's every Saturday morning, any given day, or maybe just once in a lifetime,
we each experience something special in our lives. My goal as a photographer
is to document these fleeting moments in life - to create visual keepsakes that
capture our emotions and tell our stories.
