Is there such a thing as a post-summer vacation? There sure is! And for my very good friend Ana and me, we waited until two weeks after the Labor Day holiday to take it. Along with her super cute dog, Ryder (aka "Little Nugget"... what a sweetheart!), we rented a beach house on Anna Maria Island to get away and relax from our hectic work schedules. Even though it was only for a couple of nights, I think we definitely packed the car and bought enough grocery as if we were going away for a week! Oh, if only that long... But we made the most of our three days enjoying this awesome beach house and doing SO much stuff: hanging out in the Gulf waters, getting some sun, riding our bikes, exploring the city pier, stalking a bird with our cameras, watching people fish, taking Instagram pics, going out to dinner, and even doing a mini photo-shoot on the beach! It was definitely worth the wait to finally unwind on a summer vacation... in the middle of September.
