When I wrote about Daniel and Ashley's engagement session last year, I mentioned how I looked forward to their wedding day and how I anticipated it was going to be a seriously fun wedding to photograph. Well, it was. It was sooooo much fun that it was Amazeballs-fest-Florida-USA-of-the-Universe kind of fun. I apologize if that makes no sense whatsoever, but Daniel and Ashley know exactly what I'm talking about. I love you guys. Everything about the whole day was spectacular! First and foremost, they are two of the sweetest and most fun people you will ever meet, so getting to spend any kind of time with them is always fantastic and a lot of laughter ensues. Second, we were at two amazing locations in downtown St. Pete: at the Vinoy Renaissance Resort hotel and then at the Museum of Fine Arts. I love art and art museums, so this was right up my alley. I was even inspired to be a little more "colorful" with some of the edits from the reception party... Third, I also got to spend the day with my very good long-time friend Molly, who is super-fun herself and was my second photographer. Together, we were able to cover and capture so much more of this awesome day, and I know that was very important to Daniel and Ashley. And last but not least, umm... I got to ride a (surprise!) horse drawn carriage at the end of the night with the newlyweds! Ok, so maybe (?) I invited myself to hop in and go along, but I now seriously think it's the next big thing in wedding photo booths. Truly an untapped market. Who needs silly glasses and mustache props when you can wear the various, genuine facial expressions that can only come from riding a Cinderella princess carriage at night through downtown St. Pete while waving to the people at the bars and restaurants. Daniel and Ashley's expressions were priceless! As was Daniel's "special" dance routine for Ashley... What an incredibly FUN-filled wedding day!
